Conference Policy
- All presenters (including Invited Speakers) must register online to confirm their attendance.

- Authors/Presenters
- It is expected that at least one author attends the meeting to present the accepted abstract.
- Authors whose abstracts are accepted must register their meeting attendance & pay fees
(if applicable) by the author registration deadline
- At the time of registration, the IDs of the abstracts to be presented must be provided.
- Otherwise, the abstract is considered NOT registered and risks being withdrawn.
- Each registration fee covers TWO presentations maximum.
An additional registration fee applies for each abstract in excess of the TWO presentations/abstracts.
- It is expected that at least one author attends the meeting to present the accepted abstract.
- Registration confirmation is subject to payment being received. Once payment is
received, the transaction records can be viewed / printed online.
- Student Registration Requires Identification. You will be required to upload
a scanned copy of your student proof at the end of the registration process.
Acceptable documents for student proof are:
- Your matriculation card with clear indication of the expiry date.
- A status proof letter endorsed by your school, which should show the
following information:
- Student name
- Student matriculation number (student ID)
- Expiry date
- University name
- One-Day Pass for Industry Participants
Author, Co-Author, Presenter, Convener, Co-Convener are NOT ELIGIBLE- Non-Author/Presenter/Convener only may purchase a one-day pass for a
chosen meeting day.
The pass holder is entitled to attend all sessions for the day. - If attending more than one day, full fee is applicable
- Non-Author/Presenter/Convener only may purchase a one-day pass for a
chosen meeting day.
- Retirees are defined to be the delegates who are over the age of 60 and are
not employed more than 10% of full time in a professional capacity.
- Student Registration Requires Identification. You will be required to upload
a scanned copy of your student proof at the end of the registration process.
Acceptable documents for student proof are:
- Indemnity
- While the organizer will make every effort to screen operators and observe best
safety practices, the individual must accept personal responsibility for insurance
against travel risk and injury.
- Please note that insurance is not included in the field trips and participants are responsible for their own insurance.
- Participants on field trips/tours agree to indemnify AOGS against any claims as arising from injury or loss sustained during the outings.
- While the organizer will make every effort to screen operators and observe best
safety practices, the individual must accept personal responsibility for insurance
against travel risk and injury.

- Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy
- Is applicable to any purchases, including field trips, tours, conference registration, optional items, etc.
- Field Trips – there will be no refund for cancellation/withdrawal by registrants. But if the field trip is cancelled due to lack of numbers, conference will refund the paid fee.
- Conference Registration – there will be no refund for cancellation/withdrawal received
on or after 15 Jun 2021
For cancellations before 15 Jun 2021, a SGD80 administrative fee applies
